General Overview of the GMTScada System

GMTScada is a web-based SCADA software system integrated with GMTSuite that enables graphical monitoring and control of GMTPLC series devices.

Key Features

  • Easy Programming: SCADA screens are designed within the GMTSuite editor and directly integrated into PLC projects. The system can be commissioned quickly and easily without requiring different communication protocols or complex communication settings.
  • Easy Installation: GMTScada runs through an internet browser. No additional software installation or complex system configuration is required.
  • Cost-Effective: GMTScada can be used with 49X and higher GMTPLC series devices. It is provided free of charge, with no limitations on the number of tags, PLCs, or usage duration.
  • Wide Platform Support: GMTScada can run through an internet browser on different operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
  • Mobile Compatibility: Provides seamless access and monitoring from tablets and mobile devices.
  • Industry 4.0 Compatible: Its Industry 4.0-compatible architecture enables PLCs to be used in IoT-based systems and applications.
  • No Specialized Networking Expertise Required: Communication with PLCs is established over the Internet. The system can be easily used without requiring complex router configurations, port forwarding, or firewall settings.
  • Secure Communication: Communication between the PLC and SCADA system is carried out using the secure SSL communication protocol.

Communication Architecture

GMTScada enables access to and control of GMTPLC devices located at different locations through a single SCADA interface, using Ethernet-based communication over the Internet.

PLCs located in different cities, countries, or facilities can be monitored and controlled through a centralized SCADA system. The Internet-based communication infrastructure facilitates access to remote systems while supporting secure data communication through secure communication technologies.
